1. Before the formal construction, the workers must first use a level tube to measure whether the ink line on the wall is horizontal. Only by ensuring that the basic line is indeed horizontal can the ceiling installed later not be tilted or have a height difference. 2. The gypsum board ceiling needs to be fixed on a solid wooden keel frame, so the careful selection of the keel material beforehand becomes an indispensable step. It is recommended that you try to choose pine wood with good nail holding power. 3. Because the keel is made of wood, fire prevention must be paid attention to. The standard practice is to evenly apply fire retardant paint on the surface of the keel, wait until the entire keel is white, and then nail it to the wall, which can ensure that the place where it contacts the wall is also painted with fire retardant paint. 4. After the keel surface is fireproofed, it can be assembled. The workers will use a nail gun to fix it at a 45-degree angle at the junction of the two keels. At this time, you need to control the strength to prevent cracks in the keel. 5. After nailing the keel frame, you need to fix the frame to the wall. At this time, you need to carefully check whether the spacing between the frames is no more than 300mm to have sufficient firmness (it should also be considered according to the distance of the on-site installation of lights, downlights, and spotlights, otherwise there will be some minor troubles in the installation). Otherwise, the gypsum board on it will easily sink and break. 6. Next, the gypsum board will be officially installed. It is best to let the workers use stainless steel drywall nails to fix the gypsum board. Such nails will not rust and can ensure the long-term beauty of the gypsum board in the future. 7. The nail holes on the gypsum board are usually treated with rust-proof nail hole putty. In fact, filling the nail holes with cement is a more cost-effective and labor-saving method. And the effect after treatment is no worse than nail hole putty. 8. The gap between the two gypsum boards must be handled in the next step, otherwise there will be obvious cracks in the future. Generally, workers will use 901 glue and gypsum powder to mix and fill the gaps. 9. After filling the gaps with gypsum powder, it is best to stick anti-cracking tape on the surface to prevent thermal expansion and contraction from causing cracks on the top surface. When pasting, pay attention to using a scraper to remove bubbles while pasting, so that the tape and gypsum board are thoroughly and tightly combined. 10. For ceilings with special shapes, post-processing is very important. Ceilings such as round and wavy shapes require experienced masters to slowly repair them with a small spatula, which is also the most important process in the entire ceiling molding. 11. After the basic shape is repaired, the edge of the ceiling should be polished with sandpaper to remove the edges and burrs. Be patient and careful when handling, otherwise it will greatly affect the appearance in the future. 12. Generally, after a few days of hard work, the ceiling at home can be completed. As long as the above key links in construction are grasped, the beauty and safety of the gypsum board ceiling can be guaranteed.
